Java Developer GWT

LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCE JAVA DEVELOPER WITH SPRING AND WEBSERVICES EXPERIENCE.,

LOCATION: AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS

DURATION: 3 MONTHS WITH EXTENSION POSSIBILITIES

- Strong participation in web application development projects. There will be a strong focus on development and technical leadership.
- Play a big role in the future software architecture for our web applications.
- Be the sparring partner for our Business Partners regarding topics to make their work, via IT, as lean and mean as possible.
- Think out and implement improvement proposals.
- Provide line-management with new ideas and feed them with interesting topics that need there attention.
- Work in close contact with the team lead to bring the team to the next level (technical and non-technical).

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

- University or College of Higher Education degree in information technology, mathematics, engineering or related subjects (or comparable training).
- More then 5 years' working experience in the field of Java development. Preferable in the web application area. The following technologies and methodologies are used within the team:
- Scrum
- Java (GWT and Spring)
- Content Management Systems (Tridion)
- HTML
- CSS
- Javascript
- Ajax
- JQuery
- Webservices
- Continious Integration
- Atlassian Toolset (JIRA, Bamboo, FishEye, Crucible and Confluence) - Fluent written and spoken Dutch and English.
- Good technical lead skills and structured way of working.
- Experience in developing applications for mobile devices.
- Excellent communication skills - ability to influence people.
