OVERVIEW:
A leading financial requires a talented and experienced Java Developer to join them at their London-based office on an initial 6 month contract. You will be working on the initial stages of an exciting project.
You will be working on B2B and D2C websites running cross-browser and cross-platform.
You will be building large scale distributed applications and will follow Agile methodologies.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Excellent Java experience
- Groovy and Grails experience
- A background in building JVM based applications at scale
- Full stack Javascript knowledge
DESIRED SKILLS:
- NoSQL
- DevOps - Puppet, Chef, Salt
- RabbitMQ
- Git
RATE:
- £450-500 per day depending on experience
