Amoria Bond are searching for a Financial Engineer (Java Developer) to join their client in Geneva, Switzerland. The Financial Engineer (Java Developer) will join a team of developers on a new migration project.

The Java Developer will be working with a geographically dispersed team across multiple sites in Europe. A new project estimated to last until end of 2013/2014 requires to strengthen the migration procress from one risk platform to another.

The Java Developer will be assisting this important risk migration, with the following tasks:
- Implementation of a new portfolio optimisation tool for the convertible team
- Build new functionalities for a new database related to the new platform
- Migrate Excel tool to a Java setup for portfolio management
- Migration to a single risk tool to facilitate new platform interface

Essential skills:
- JAVA/Front End Development
- GUI implementation
- Maven
- JBoss
- Front-to-Back Office exposure (Investment Banking)
- English speaking and writing (due to multiple sites of the client)
- Database knowledge enabling to implement related databases and data models

START MARCH
3 months (with possibility for renewal)
