On behalf of one of our clients, a financial institution located in Prague, we are looking for external support:

Java Developer (f/m) financial area Prague F948

We are looking for a software developer who will participate in development on Connectivity Middleware systems. Its design is driven by demands for shorter time-to-market, faster responsiveness to changing regulations and elimination of dependencies on end-of-life cycle technologies. The high reliability, scalability and performance requirements of the platform will challenge your technical skills and provide ample opportunities for improvement. You will acquire insight into financial market products and processes.

Technical skills in the following domains are required:

- Java/JEE
- SQL (Oracle)
- XML, JAXB

Experience in one or more of the following areas will be of advantage:

- Development in a Linux environment, Shell Scripting
- Experience in financial markets

The following interpersonal skills are essential:

- Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate
- Highly self-motivated, self directed and attentive to details
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Critical thinking, the ability to identify problems and propose solutions

Other essential skills

- Must be flexible, independent and self motivated
- Sense for detail and for picking the right solution while keeping in mind the business constraints 
- Fast learner
- Team player, who is used to work in international environment
