Harvey Nash are a global Professional Services provider in the areas of Technology and Engineering Recruitment and Outsourcing. For our client, a global Automotive Company specialising in Navigation Software in Ulm we are currently looking for a Java Developer. (f/m)

CONTRACT TYPE:Full time employment through Harvey Nash Group

PROJECT START:asap

PROJECT LENGTH:6 Months+

LOCATION : Ulm

RESPONSIBILITIES :

-Extending and maintaining the Brain-Computer-Interface (BCI) System.
-Development and maintenance of Java Plugins for CI Server - Jenkins
-Development and maintenance of Plugins for Tool Support to control the CI System.

Expert Knowledge:

-Object Oriented Programming
-Java/J2EE
-Application servers - Apache Tomcat, Winstone
-SQL (Oracle 11g)
-Eclipse IDE
-MVC

ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE:

-Continuous Integration Principles
-Jenkins CI Server/Jenkins Plugin Development
-Maven
-Linux
-Javascipt, JQuery, JUnit, HTML, CSS

NICE-TO-HAVE KNOWLEDGE:

-Multi-Module and multi-layer applications architecture designing
-Jelly, JSP, Servlets
-Message Queuing (AMQP)
-Parallel Programming - Master/Slave Paradigm
-UML and data structure modelling
-Database design and data mining

LANGUAGES :

-Very good English is required for team communication and documentation.
-German is nice to have but not necessary
