Java Developer - Cryptography

My client is looking for a Java Developer to join them on an initial 1 month contract at their Amsterdam office. The successful candidate will have bachelor's degree in Computer Science or higher as well as practical design, development and deployment experience with evolving existing designs towards large scale service architecture. You must have excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills as well as experience of using proven architectural patterns.

KEY SKILLS

- Must have extensive experience and excellent expertise in Java based Server Side high-performance, highly-available applications development. Knowledge of C, C++ and Scala based development will be nice to have.
- Experience implementing, unit testing, debugging, continuous integration and integrating code of high complexity
- Must have deep understanding of networking and security technologies such as HTTP, SPDY, RESTful API, SSL/TLS, cryptography, PKI, and etc.
- Experience in service-oriented architectures (TIBCO/MQ), cryptography, policy management, key management, certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is a plus.
- Experience in working on complex multi-tier fulfilment chains consisting of custom made building blocks and COTS solutions.
- Self-directed and capable of working in a complex banking environment.
- Good knowledge of one or more Scripting languages
- Experience in a high paced agile development environment.
- Understanding of both RDBMS and NoSQL approaches to data storage
- Familiarity with GIT, Gradle, Maven, Jetty, Tomcat, Spring, Niginx and Linux
