ENDEAVOUR RECRUITMENT has a fantastic contract opportunity for an experienced Java developer to work for our client in beautiful Cork, Republic of Ireland.
Our client is looking for a Java developer to work with them on a 6 month basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop/Maintain multi-tier applications in Java
- Develop Front End, service and data layer.
- Develop unit tests, understand build systems (MVN, SVN)
- Peer review of detailed designs, code and unit tests.
- Bug fixing and enhancement implementation.
TECHNICAL PROFILE
- N-Tier application design and development
- Backbone.js + JSP experience
- Spring, Hibernate, JPA, REST
- A strong understanding of latency, performance in the JVM etc
- The use of JPA, Spring XD, Kafka and MongoDB in the new system, but ActiveMQ, MySQL and Hazelcast in the older system which the team are integrating with
- Scrum and BDD for development
- Excellent knowledge of Java EE
- Web development (CSS, HTML, JavaScript)
- Web Service Development
LOCATION: Cork ROI.
RATE: up to €340 per day Dependent on experience.
