Are you looking for a new JAVA Developer contract job here in Zürich? Are you interested in being involved in significantly rewriting the JAVA code base for a widely used trading limits credit risk application? Do you have strong Server Side core JAVA experience? If so this could be the perfect contract JAVA Developer job for you!

You will be joining a large technical team of approximately 30 people that are involved in redeveloping a Credit Risk application that is responsible for credit risk exposure calculation. The application covers a range of asset classes including FX (including Interest Rate Derivatives), Money Markets and Commodities and is developed front to back in JAVA - multithreaded JAVA on the Server Side and JSF for the UI, making use of REST Web Services.

Technically you are expected to have good Server Side core JAVA experience, including experience of writing multithreaded code. Alongside this experience, you are expected to have good knowledge of JEE technologies including JSF. The team use Spring and Hibernate and Oracle as the database.

The maximum rate available for this position is 725 CHF per day and will run for an initial 6 months, but could run for up to 2 years.
