Java Developer Collateral Management

The Liquidity Risk team at a highly successful Investment Bank is looking for a senior Java Developer.

The team is split into two - one team is focused on Risk and Trading and the other, Collateral Management. Depending on the candidates' experience, they may work across both divisions, or specialise in a certain area. In any case, previous banking experience is mandatory - preferably front office or risk experience to be precise.

This candidate will be working closely with the business to gather requirements and produce solid solutions. As well as being a hands on developer, the successful candidate will be expected to run and manage multiple projects. This will involve liaising with other team members and other business leaders to ensure that everything is delivered in a timely fashion.

Mandatory skills:

Solid Java development skills - approx 7 years. Front to back development skills are also required.

Investment Banking experience - either Front Office, trading and risk, or Collateral Management, or Liquidity Risk in general.

Ability to prioritise tasks

Exceptional communication skills

Basic Database skills - Sybase, SQL or similar
