Java Developer (C# .NET, Linux, HTML5)

Java Developer required for a leading financial client in New York. My client is ideally looking for someone with a good experience as a C# developer, as my client is working with Java on a 64-bit grid of Linux boxes and using Java and C# on the Front End. Experience with HTML5 is ideal.

Financial experience is not required; however my client does expect this candidate to have a strong experience working with large data sets to work on a large-scale risk transformation project.

KEY SKILLS FOR THE JAVA DEVELOPER (C# .NET, LINUX, HTML5)

- Previous experience working with Java and C#
- Experience working with large data sets, moving data, visualising data, Datamodelling
- HTML5 experience is required
- Physics, Computer Science background (or similar) is required
- Experience applying big data techniques to core business functionality would be ideal
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
