I am currently recruiting for a Java Developer/Middleware Engineer to work on multiple projects for a global leader in digital services with employees in 72 countries worldwide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Integrate and deploy the eDelivery components

- Test and participate in the improvement of the next releases
- Support the applications in both acceptance and production environments
- Monitor the applications availability
- Troubleshoot and investigate infrastructure and software issues
- Manage tickets related to Incidents, requests, and problems
- Escalate incidents, requests, and problems via Jira to the 3rd line Support
- Insure Jira escalated issues quality
- Develop internal tools

SKILLS:

- Operating Systems: Linux and Windows
- DATABASES: ORACLE 11G, MYSQL
- MIDDLEWARE EXPERIENCE
- APPLICATION SERVERS: WEBLOGIC, TOMCAT, AND WILDFLY
- Methods: Scrum, DevOps and ITIL
- Tools: Eclipse, Jira, SMT, Maven, Docker, Nexus, Jenkins, SoapUI
- Programming: Java, J2EE, .NET and Drupal
- Enterprise: SOA, JMS, Hibernate, Web Services, REST, Spring Batch, Servlets, JSF, JSP
- Writing: Technical writing of Administration and deployment guides

REQUIRED LANGUAGES:

- English is mandatory
- French or Dutch would be a bonus

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Contract length: until the end of the year with the possibility of extension.

Rate: €350-€400 per day
