Java Developer - Brussels - 12 Months

e-Synergy Solutions are currently hiring for a Java Developer for a 12 month contract based in Brussels, Belgium

Role - Java Developer
Location - Brussels, Belgium
Duration - 12 months
Rate - €250 per day all inclusive
Start Date - ASAP

Java Developer

Tasks:

*Design, develop, deploy, customize and support the Back Office components with a strong emphasis on development of the Service Layer (web services).
*Produce clear and concise (technical) documentation throughout different steps of the project's life cycle.
*Closely collaborate with the architects and all members of the development team in an Agile approach.
*Collaboration with IT infrastructure team (eg system administrators, DBA, network administrator ).
*Contribute to the definition of work and resource planning.

Skills:

*At least 5 years of relevant experience as Java Developer.
*Certification (desirable) as Sun Certified Java Developer (either SCDJWS or SCJP or SCWCD or SCBCD)
*Proven work experience with development of Service Layer is considered essential: Java/J2EE and web services (SOAP/SOA/REST), Spring, Oracle and Eclipse.
*Experience with web service development is considered essential.
*Proven work experience with EJB, JSP, Servlets, JSF, JDBC, Hibernate & Spring, JUnit, JIRA, CVS and/or SVN/Subversion.
