JOB OVERVIEW

- Expertise in the full software development life cycle, from concept and design to testing
- Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for infrastructure systems and delivering high-availability and performance
- Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

QUALIFICATIONS

- Proven hands-on Software Development experience
- Proven working experience in Java development
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- KNOWLEDGE IN:
- SERVICE DEVELOPMENT
- JAVA
- REST API
- JSON/XML
- SOAPUI
- SOA SERVICES
- RELATIONAL (RDBMS) AND NON-RELATIONAL DATABASES
- UML
- ATLASSIAN SUITE (JIRA, CONFLUENCE, ...)
- VERSION MANAGEMENT (SUBVERSION, ...)
- AGILE/SCRUM
- UNIT, SYSTEM, ACCEPTANCE AND INTEGRATION TESTS
- TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION
- INITIAL SUPPORT
- ETL + tools
- Experience in working in agile development environments, scrum meetings
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases
- Experience in the Spring Framework
- Certification for Java Development would be an asset
- Experience in developing web applications
- Experience with test-driven development
