Java Developer/Belgium/8 Month Contract

Calling for an experienced JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER to join a client, based in Belgium, on an English speaking site, for an 8 months contract role.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO DEVELOP QUALITY SOLUTIONS BASED ON BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO A TELECOM WEB-BASED ENVIRONMENT.
YOU WILL WORK WITHIN THE DIGITAL ARCHITECTURE TEAM ACCOUNTABLE MAINLY FOR CROSS WEB, CROSS-PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OF THE MICRO-SERVICES PLATFORM AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CI/CD TRACK FOR BACK END AND WEB FRONT END SOLUTIONS.
DELIVERABLES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Participate in the technical design of the solution based on business requirements gathered.
- Participate in the technical design and development of the microservice architecture.
- Participate in project estimations.
- Develop qualitative web-solutions related to Web solutions using Agile.
- Act as an active member to ensure high code quality (clean code, unit testing, regression tests) )delivered on time and within budget.
- Document the delivered code/solution.
- Perform development testing.
- Participate in the implementation of the releases following the client change & management processes.
- Provide support to the operation team.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- University, or equivalent by experience, ideally Master in IT.
- At least 3 years of experience with Java web-based development.
- Profound knowledge of the Spring framework and Java ecosystem.
- Experience with continuous integration and automated test & build tools.
- Hands-on experience with Agile development principles & methodologies.
