Java Developer - Belgium

JAVA DEVELOPER - HUIZINGEN - €430 PER DAY

I am currently looking for a Java Developer to work in Belgium, just outside Brussels on an initial 9 month contract. The role will be in French/Dutch as no communication with the customer in English is required. 1 day per week remote working is also possible.

THE SKILLS REQUIRED ARE:

- Java 8,
- Testing knowledge (JUnit/SoapUI)
- Git
- Webservices
- Docker
- Linux
- Relational Databases and NoSQL databses

DESIRABLE:

- Messaging frameworks (JMS, Kafka)
- Micro-services environment (Wildfly-swarm, spring boot, )
- Cloud experience (Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Openshift, Pivotal)
- Blockchain
- High Volume & performance oriented

MISSION:

- Integrate the Scrum team
- Maintain (corrective + evolutive) the NIPPIN platform
- Bring ideas for the evolution of the platform (eg improve resources management and footprint on the Servers)
- Implement/test use cases defined by customer
- Participate with the current team to the 3rd level service desk activities (one team member is alternatively responsible, during 5 working days and during business hours, for the 3rd level service desk)
- Ability to work with infrastructure personnel in a devops way of working
