Java Developer - Belgium

Consol Partners are currently seeking a Java developer for a 6 month contract, working for one of our technology customers in Belgium.

Assignments will consist of:

- Design, implement, document and maintain a number of modules of the Back Office infrastructure
- Closely cooperate with team members in an agile structured development process
- Continuously look out for possible platform and process improvements
- Help translating business requirements in design and implementations

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Master in computer science or engineering or equivalent through experience
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar application and technological environment
- Strong technical expertise and/or affinity with any of the following: in order of importance: Java, J2EE and the Spring software stack, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Freemarker, HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery
- Experience with all or any of the following is an advantage: Eclipse, subversion, Jira, Teamcity, Linux
- Team player and fluency in Dutch and English, both speaking and writing
- Able to cope with deadlines
