Java Developer (back-end, Server-side)

JAVA DEVELOPER (FRONT & BACK END)

We are urgently seeking a JAVA DEVELOPER (FRONT & BACK END) for a long-term contract in Amsterdam.
The client uses the latest Java-based systems, such as an in-memory databases and responsive website technologies. They work Scrum/Agile in small teams with sprints of 2 weeks.

The role of the JAVA DEVELOPER (FRONT
- Designing;
- Developing the functionality;
- Testing;
- Quality Assurance;
- Aftercare.

The JAVA DEVELOPER (FRONT
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience in large organizations;
- You are able to develop efficient and maintainable code;
- As Back End developer you have advanced knowledge of Java, as a Front End developer you have advanced knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON. Knowledge of Dojo is preferred;
- Good knowledge of infrastructure
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, Eclipse, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Selenium and Nolio;
- Experience with Agile and DevOps;
- Excellent social skills, great communicator;
- Creative, like to learn and experiment;
- Strong analytical skills, willing to learn, willing to share knowledge with others;
- Proactive, perseverant and value a multi-cultural work environment;
- Proficient in English
- Passionate about technology.
