JAVA DEVELOPER, AWS, REST - AGILE, BDD - CONTRACT

We are looking for a highly experienced Agile Java Developer with strong experience deploying large scale projects to the Cloud using AWS and building RESTful APIs.

The successful Java Developer will be a keen Agile enthusiast with strong experience working in advanced Agile environments. This company is a market leader when it comes to software development standards and cutting edge, fast paced Agile environments (TDD, BDD Cucumber, XP, Lean, Pair Programming, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Integration).

Candidates who take an active interest in contributing to Open Source projects, attending meetups, blogging and generally being active in the tech community are the type of people we want to join the team.

KEY SKILLS:

- Java, Spring
- AWS, EC2 (Cloud Deployments)
- NoSQL databases (DynamoDB would be good)
- TDD/BDD (Cucumber experience would be good)
- Agile (Scrum, XP, Pairing, Lean, Continuous Integration)
- Understanding of DevOps culture and Continuous Deployment
- Keen and enthusiastic technologist
- Interest in functional languages like Scala and Clojure
