Java Developer - AWS, CI/CD, TDD - Amsterdam - Contract

JAVA DEVELOPER - AWS, CI/CD, TDD - AMSTERDAM - CONTRACT

Major Sports Media Company based in Amsterdam, looking for an experienced Agile Java Developer. You will be designing and developing their next generation of consumer facing services.

The successful Java Developer will have excellent experience with Java and good knowledge and experience working with AWS and working in Cloud/DevOps style environments. Experience with working in Agile environments following TDD, Scrum/KanBan and XP practices is an absolute must as well as having experience building cloud based Microservices within DevOps style environments.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Java Developer looking for a company and team where you can work with cutting edge technologies such as Java 8 and AWS, in a highly Agile/DevOps style environment.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Java, J2EE
- Spring, Spring Boot
- Agile, TDD, Scrum/KanBan and XP
- AWS (EC2, SNS, SQS)
- HTTP
- DevOps (Docker, Chef, Puppet)
- CI/CD
- Ruby, Javascript or other programming languages (beneficial, not necessary)
