Java Developer/Architect

A seasoned Java developer is required on immediate basis to join a tier one financial organisation in Brussels. The successful Java developer will be working systematically within a small group (5-7 Java developers) in the front and Back End development. The Greenfield project will entail the successful Java developer to work closely with the business users, BA's and the architecture team to formulate new developments to improve various business initiatives and existing applications.

Key skills

- Excellent core Java development experience/JDB
- First rate knowledge of Hibernate and Swing
- Relational database awareness specific to Oracle BI
- Agile development methodologies (Scrum/TDD/BDD)

This is a contract role with potential rolling and permanent roles, requiring immediate start. The suitable candidate must demonstrate a working history within a highly dynamic environment. The successful Java developer will gain the exposure to these unique business areas, having a direct impact on the financial direction of a top tier financial organisation with the challenge to further develop their technical skills.
