Java Developer (Air Traffic Management)

I have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Java Developer required to work on a Traffic Management System Project (TMS)

Part of your responsibility will be to develop software modules for the TMS Real Time Tactical Server. This includes designing, developing, maintaining and providing support on applications in the areas of data processing,
HMI applications and various ATC data evaluation applications.

Skills required:- At least 3 years of practical experience in developing applications in Java (NetBeans, Eclipse)
At least 3 years of practical experience in developing RMI interfaces for data visualisation applications
Practical experience in developing ETL data manipulation and interfaces to data sources in databases/data files (XML, csv)

Due to the nature of the project there is a strong preference from candidates with a solid background knowledge in ATC and/or ATFCM/ASM to understand what are the Flight Plan, Route Network, Controlled Sectors, CHMI tool, Air Traffic Flow
Management, Demand - Capacity balancing, Controller Workload, Sector Capacity, Traffic Complexity, Airspace Management etc
