JAVA DEVELOPER 9-12 months contract (initial) in Brussels.

We have to manage an urgent replacement and are looking for a Java-Developer to start ASAP. Our client is a multinational organisation in Brussels.

Tasks
- Development and integration of technological components and integration with other applications;
- Prototyping and implementation of user requirements;
- Provide assistance with writing of technical documentation including the establishment of deployment procedures

Skills and Experience

- Minimum 12 years of combined studies and experience;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in JAVA, SPRING, HIBERNATE, JMS, WEB SERVICES, JSP, JQUERY;
- KNOWLEDGE OF HTML5, AJAX FRAMEWORK SUCH AS BOOTSTRAP, REST WEB SERVICES, SOA, ORACLE SERVICE BUS, SPRING, SPRING MVC, JPA, HIBERNATE, JAX-WS, AND JSF, ORACLE DATABASE 11G, RATIONAL UNIFIED PROCESS AND THE RATIONAL TOOLS (EG TEAM CONCERT, SOFTWARE MODELLER, SOFTWARE ARCHITECT AND REQUISITE PRO);
- Practical experience proving the capability to execute the tasks described above;
- Rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working;
- Proactive attitude, communicative (ie good listener) and customer-oriented;
- A functional knowledge of the Grant Management Programmes of the European Commission would be an asset
- Proven knowledge of developing web;
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings. Fluent language skills in English are mandatory and French language skills are desired.
