JAVA DEVELOPER/+3 MONTHS/BRUSSELS

Java Developer required for one of our clients to develop services and frameworks for several Portasl and B2B. He/she will also probably be called to participate to its further evolution. Development is here intended not only as pure software implementation but it includes activities such as production of technical notes, implementation of unit tests, and refactoring.

ACTIVITIES

- Design, development and maintenance of the CUA, CHMI, B2B and Portal applications.
- On-call support for about 3-4 weeks a year during the applications migration.
- Development and maintenance of unit test frameworks, unit tests for the software components and software frameworks.
- Prototyping of new architecture or features
- Participate to the analysis of the changes

SKILLS MUST HAVE

- Experience in Object Oriented Analysis, design and programming
- Extensive Java knowledge
- Extensive Swing knowledge
- Extensive GUI design experience
- Experience in B2B web services
- Experience in design and development of optimized Java code, performance tuning, multithreaded applications and memory management
- Experience in Application Server BEA Weblogic or similar
- Experience with open source tools based on Java, Web 2.0 technologies and IDE like Eclipse
- Experience in the mission critical application development
