Java Developer- 12 Month Contract

Java Developer Urgently required. You will be working with a leading systems integrator on a x12 month contract with good potential for further extensons.
Location: South Africa (Johannesburg)
Position Functions or Responsibilities:
DAILY TASKS WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop web applications using JBoss or WebLogic technologies. Develop new web applications using Java Server Faces, Facelets, Spring, Spring JDBC, and Hibernate. Enhance existing web applications using WebLogic Workshop with WebLogic page flows, Java controls and database controls.
- Follow a disciplined approach, rather than a "code and fix" approach, to software development. This disciplined approach includes requirement capture, work effort estimation, analysis/design, coding, testing, and source code configuration management.
- Think through problems, determine alternative solutions, and ensure problems do not recur; remove obstacles by asking upfront questions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of at least two (2) software development projects from requirements to deployment
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
- 3+ years of industry experience with web application development, Java programming, relational databases, and source code control tools preferred
