JAVA DEVELOPER 12 needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Eden Prairie, MN.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Strong Java EE
- Spring Framework
- JSP, Servlets and HTML5

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Design and build scalable and highly available web applications using Java EE.
- Designs domain specific services and DAO layer services.
- Collaborates with Project Manager, functional subject matter experts and IT Application Leaders to define and execute the Web application development.
- Ensures company policies and guidelines are met.
- Ensure secure, vulnerability free code is produced by the development team
- Participates on Agile planning sessions and facilitates the estimation process.
- Ensure full unit test coverage of the code produced.
- Constantly integrates code ensuring the overall product is cohesive and working.
- Escalates coding, standards and architectural issues and ensures solutions are in alignment with the overall technology vision.
- Identifies and leads remediation for any performance bottlenecks in the system.
- Supports integration testing process.
- Participates in architecture and code reviews.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Strong Java EE software technical design and development experience
- Spring MVC framework
- Spring security
- JSP, Servlets and HTML5
- Web services, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON
- Web security, vulnerability prevention
- JQuery
- ORM, Hibernate
- JUnit
- Agile development
- JBoss, TC Server or other container
- Oracle, SQL
- Integration of CMS solutions
- Diagnose and optimize code for performance

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience on web application development in Java EE
- Excellent communication and proactive engagement in solution design and delivery
- Ability to engage and lead a distributed development team
- Excellent analytical and development skills
- Excellent skills on latest versions of HTML/XHTML/CSS
- Knowledge and experience with web standards and multi-browser compatibility
- Strong ability to work across functional teams, including designers, developers, marketers, and business teams
- Attention to detail and relentlessly pursue excellence in producing quality deliverables
