We are currently looking for an experienced Java Developer for a fantastic contract opportunity based in the Cultural city of Brussels.

- Implementation and customisation of applications
- Implementation and customisation of databases
- Implementation of security defined for applications
- Definition of test strategies, design and test of applications
- Maintenance (corrective, adaptive and perfective) of applications

QUALIFICATIONS

- Master Degree in ICT or related subject or Bachelor Degree complemented by 5 years of professional practice in ICT
- Min. 7 years of experience in ICT (or 12 years if Bachelor)
- Minimum 7 years in Analysis/development in Java and JEE environments;
- Minimum 5 years' experience is needed in SOAP/REST /Web Services, Products / Tools Application server (Tomcat/, WebLogic);
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Protocols JSON;
- Minimum 3 years in Eclipse (or equivalent);
- Minimum 2 years in HTML5 and JavaScript; Experience in Modern JavaScript (ES5 and ES6) is preferred
- Mastering of modern JS development tooling:
- NPM
- JQuery
- Gulp,
- Semantic UI
- REST
- Browserify,
- Babel
- CSS pre-processors - Sass,
- Tomcat
- Git
- Understanding of Single Page Application development
- Experience with JS frameworks.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Spring Framework (Spring, Spring MVC);

Desirable experience:

- Professional experience with CSS3, selectors, classes & pseudo-classes
- Understanding of JS Promises.
- Hands- on experience with at least 2 out of the following: Sonar, Jenkins, Git, JUnit, Selenium, Motcha,Jira,Gitlab, Activiti, EHCache, ActiveMQ, logback
