Java Developer

Main Duties

* Develop and apply the specification to capturing the (binary) Link 16 format (13.5) and content message business rules
* Extend the message specification to overcome shortcomings for above activities
* Implement a prototype to verify the message description and content message business rules specification by parsing, displaying, serializing and verify Link16 messages
* Contribute to the evaluation and formalization of the specification
* Link 16 J3.5 Message Description+ business rulesspecifications
* Prototype to parse, display, serialize andverify Link 16 conformance to STANAG
* Message specification + business rules specifications

Essential Skills and Experience

* Strong experience in XML Schema development.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in JAVA development.
* Experienced in XSLT, Schematron (or related) development
* Parsing and serialization of binary data

Desirable Skill and Experience

* Experience with XProc and XPipelines
* Experience with NIRJS TITO
* Experience with DFDL

Essential Qualifications

The consultant shall have completed course work at a technical college in the Computer Science, Software
Engineering or Electrical Engineering fields from arecognized institution.

Language Skill

Good English oral and writing skills. Most of the work is conducted in the English language.

Security Clearance

NATO Secret Security Clearance or National Equivalent
