We require a Java developer for our Financial Sector client (3 month) contract in Stratford Ontario - Extensions are possible.
THIS IS AN ASAP REQUIREMENT. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD BE IN THE LONDON, KITCHENER, WATERLOO, BURLINGTON, CAMBRIDGE, HAMILTON AREA.
1. Strong written and oral communication skills, both technical and business writing as well as presentation skills.
2. EXPERT KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND EXPERIENCE AROUND THE FOLLOWING TECHNOLOGIES: JAVA, SERVLET, JSP, STRUTS, XML, XSD, XSL, SQL, HTML DATABASE PROGRAMMING (DB2, SQL SERVER).
3. STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF J2EE, MQ, WPS, DB2, AIX, CITRIX, WEBSPHERE, IIS, C#
4. SOLID KNOWLEDGE OF OBJECT ORIENTED DESIGN, PROGRAMMING AND EXPERIENCE WITH SCRIPTING.
5. Hands-on experience in using source control systems such as CLEARCASE,OR CVS.
6. Solid knowledge of Web/Internet-based design, Web Services.
7. Proficient in the use of Rational Application Developer or Eclipse and Microsoft Visual Studio
8. Disciplined in development methodology and conversant with software development technologies and concepts.
9. Strong time management skills, able to multi-task and manage concurrent activities.
10. Innovative approach to computing based solutions and ability to convey these ideas.
