For our customer in Ticino we are looking for a

Java Developer

Scope of work: - As a Senior Software Engineer you work in a large JavaEE project. The candidate has experience in developing complex software applications involving new technologies, methods, concepts, or approaches. The Senior Java Developer will work in a development team, collaborate with architects and implement solutions for application enhancements and features in a large Java EE environment. The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining and fixing bugs in the application, as well as assisting Quality Assurance to maintain a high quality application.

Skills:
- Master/Bachelor in Information Technology or Engineering or similar is required
- Strong Java Programming Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL, JPA
- Experience in Java programming. Experience in larger JavaEE-based projects
- Strong Knowledge of OOP, software design principles and design patterns
- Strong Knowledge of best-practices in a Java development environment (test-driven development, continuous integration, source code control)
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated
- Good problem solving capability and communication skills
- Ability to understand new technologies quickly
- Team oriented, flexible, analytical, quality oriented, reliable and goal oriented
- Knowledge of Agile Development practices
