DAILY RATE CONTRACT
START DATE: as soon as possible
JOB DESCRIPTION:
My client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Java Developer to join their team based in Dublin and start working with them ASAP on a project they have coming up.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Computer Science (or similar)
- Minimum of 6 years Full time development experience
- Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
- Significant Java experience
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Excellent verbal communication in English
- Deep understanding of web technologies
- Open minded
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with a Scripting language such as Ruby or Python
- Comfortable with Linux
- Experience optimizing or administering any DB platform (brownie points for PostgreSQL)
- Experience with Spring MVC & Spring JMS
- Experience with multiple application architectures
- Experience with GIT
- Knowledge of continuous integration and the tools used to implement this, such as Jenkins or Bamboo
- In depth experience with JBoss or ActiveMQ
