Java Developer

6 month contract in Saint Petersburg, FL.

Position Duties:

Primary duty: Create high level and detailed Java application designs utilizing Enterprise Architect

Develop Java web-based applications from detailed design specifications

Test the developed/assigned software to ensure all functional and technical requirements are met.

Assist with deployment of the developed/enhanced software into the production environment.

Ensure project deliverables are delivered in a timely, quality, and cost effective manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years development experience

Java designs created with Enterprise Architect

Experience in all phases of the SDLC

Experience in SOA Design patterns and Best Practices

Other Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Java Servlet, JSP, JavaScript, AJAX, JQUERY

Strong SQL Skills

Experience with webMethods development

Experience in Web Services Patterns and Best Practices

Understanding of Object Oriented Programming principles

Experience with XML and ETL development

Experience with SOAP UI

Experience with Test Driven development  

Demonstrated strong teamwork, interpersonal and (English) communication skills.

Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving

Local candidates preferred.  Must be able to work hourly only w-2.
