Java Developer

SR JAVA DEVELOPER TULSA, OK 6-12 MONTH CONTRACT

Currently we re looking for a strong Java Developer to analyze and develop short- and long-term solutions for enterprise Information Management needs through developing new and modifying or adapting existing applications. This candidate will provide on-going support for the clients Engineering & Construction applications environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Under general direction, formulates and defines system scope and objectives.
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
- Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
- Coordinates with users to determine IM requirements.
- Reviews system requirements and business processes
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs and implements software applications.
- Provides information technology advice and services to internal clients.
- Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.
- May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project.
- Regularly provides guidance and training to less-experienced analysts/programmers.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.

SKILLS:

- Development knowledge in programming technologies.
- Development knowledge in Application Program Interfaces (API)
- Development in browser technologies
- Development in database technologies
- Development in reporting tools
- Development in mobile technologies

QUALIFICATIONS:

- College degree
- Five years direct work experience in a project management capacity
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Tools, including Microsoft Project
- Experience at working independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to shift priorities and demands within the project scope
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with implementation of vendor products

- JAVA (CORE AND J2EE) and .Net
- REST, SOAP, JSON, GeoJSON/XML
- Sencha Touch/ExtJS, JavaScript/JQuery, Openlayers, HTML, IE, Chrome and Safari
- MS SQL Server 2008 and 2012, Oracle and Sybase
- SSRS/MSBI, Crystal Reports, Business Objects and MS Excel
- MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (IOS/ANDROID), OBJECT ORIENTED DESIGN PATTERNS
- SPRING FRAMEWORK, HIBERNATE STRONGLY PREFERRED
