The Java developer main responsibility will be developing web applications using the Java programming language. The Java developer in this senior lead position is responsible for overseeing the execution of software development fr0m the conceptual phase to the testing phase. The developer will be responsible for mentoring junior developers as well as working independently and with project teams. Other tasks may include: Review functional specs, write test-cases and design code that satisfies those specs. Implement and create code, Deploy and test code. Train users and create project documentation. The individuals primary responsibility will be to write, test, and correct his/her own code.
