Java Developer

Our client is currently seeking a skilled Java Developer to join their existing team and project. The main objective will be to assist in the design and development phase which will require an all-round, diverse specialist who has demostrated skills in the outline areas requested. The right candidate will be able to start at short notice and must agree to be part of the relevant technical screening.

Essential knowledge and experience:- - Team player who understands design specs and is able to explain these concepts to others.
- Repair bugs and implement change requests with code.
- Work with the Test team to facilitate the testing of code.
- Liase with other areas of the business when necessary.
- Contrubute to all architecture and design spec. as prescribed by the Team Lead.
- Java SE 6, Java EE 5, Spring, Hibernate, SVN, Eclipse IDE, Unit testing.
- Tomcat 6, HTML/CSS, Maven, JMS, XML/XSD, JBoss, JMS.
- Sound communication skills.
