Java Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work directly on problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions.
- Participate in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components.
- Work with vendors on the integration of purchased applications and/or infrastructure.
- Design and implement processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Computer-related or Engineering-related four year College or University Degree (or equivalent).
- Eight to ten years progressively responsible IT job-related experiences.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Knowledge of the latest technology in programming languages, computing hardware and software and current development processes and tools.
- Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects.
- Must be local to Central Illinois.
- 5 years of Java and SQL experience is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in Java development using IBM RAD is preferred.
- Spring-Core/Spring-MVC/Spring-IOC and Page layout using TILES
- JQuery/JQuery UI and AJAX
- Hibernate with Oracle and Teradata
- DataTable framework
- FLOT chart
- JExcel/Apache POI
- Web Services - Axis
- Backbone/Javascripts
