Java Developer

Yoh has an immediate two (2) year contract opportunity for a JAVA DEVELOPER with our client in Wilmington, DE.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The definition, design, construction, integration, testing, and support of reliable and reusable software solutions, addressing business opportunities. Includes systems analysis, creation of specifications, coding, testing, and implementation of application programs and data interfaces.
- The overall application design, including interfaces with other applications and systems.
- Assures that application designs are consistent with industry best practices application attributes (including scalability, availability, maintainability, and flexibility).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Have participated in 1 - 4 Agile projects
- Five (5) + years of work experience developing applications a must.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- In-depth knowledge Java.
- In-depth knowledge of J2EE design patterns.
- In-depth knowledge of web content presentation methods (HTML, XSL, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of JDBC and SQL.
- Additional experience should include Windows desktop and server applications (such as MS Office and SQL Server), some UNIX, and basic hardware systems.
- Solid interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communication clearly in written and verbal form.
- Exceptional problem solving abilities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor others in general technical skills as well as Company applications and processes.
- Provide input into general architectural decisions and design stability.
- Provide input to assist in team and project process improvement.
- Consistently exercises discretion and judgment.
- Requires a previous domain of experience in applications development.
