Java Developer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a JAVA DEVELOPER to join our client in PALO ALTO, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designs and develops user interfaces to applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle.
- Determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products.
- Design and conduct unit and quality assurance tests.
- Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server Scripting.
- Studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information Servers.
- Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
- Contributing to team meetings.
- Troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
- Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
- Responsible for the technical design and programming of complex and critical information technology applicators required to support business activity, including documentation of requirements and system functionality, development of process maps, performance metrics and test scripts.
- Fully understands business requirements and ensures that projects meet defined business requirements consistent with standard solutions as defined by the IT Organization.

Job Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):
- Experience with designing, developing and maintaining complex software applications.
- Experience with designing and conducting unit and integration tests, while ensuring that the systems are fully tested with minimal defects.
- Experience ensuring that development tasks are completed.

Required demonstrable knowledge of end to end development in:
- BACKEND: Oracle, SQL/plsql
- MIDDLE TIER: Java, servlet, JDBC, Struts, JBoss, WebSphere Application Server
- WEB UI: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jsp/jstl
- IDE: RAD 6
