Java Developer

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Three to Four years of progressively responsible, professional level analyst and systems experience in a large scale environment

REQUIREMENTS:

- 3+ years in software develop with extensive knowledge in software design and development concepts, practices, and procedures using  Java/J2EE platform.
- Must have at least 3 years hands-on design, development, deployment, testing, systems support and administration experience.
- Proficient in web application development, UI design & development and Middleware integration and development using technologies such as: Struts, JSPs, Servlets, Portlets, RSS, XML, XSL, Xpath, XSLT,AJAX, JMS, JMX, Java Beans, HTML, Jdbc, DHTML, web services, Scripting, other web development tools communicating with Oracle and MS SQL database on Windows.
- Experience in development of enterprise level E-commerce solutions like online payments, shopping carts, integration with third party payment gateways on JBoss and Apache Web server.
- Experience in integration of Web Portal with Legacy and EIS systems like SAP using Web services and JCOs.
- Experienced in writing stored procedures and SQL queries using MS SQL Server/Oracle.
- Hands on experience using a Java Integrated Development Environment like Eclipse & Net weaver developer studio for developing enterprise code & web services.
- Knowledge in latest web trends and web 2.0 technologies like AJAX, JSON, Dojo, RSS, Experience using an Enterprise/Web Content Management system.
- Ability to formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems and applications.
- Familiar and understand Enterprise level Internet security standards, Single sign on solutions and Integration of Portal with Legacy and EIS systems like SAP using Web services and JCOs.
- Experienced in schema design, Data modelling, ER diagrams, writing stored procedures, connection pools and SQL queries using MS SQL Server/Oracle.
- Familiar in setup and administering Configuration Management system, source control and automated build and deployment scripts like Ant, Maven and CVS.
- Experience in Trouble-shoot and resolve system problems and outages, manage incidents, problems and outages with application and infrastructure support teams.
- Some experience and familiarity with maintaining and administering normal backup and recovery procedures of JBoss application Servers, build or add new application instance to development and production environment, write command scripts for monitoring and process automation.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills in a manner that promotes good customer relations.
- Great communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
