Java Developer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a JAVA DEVELOPER position to join our client in OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, development and implementation of Enterprise Java n-tier web applications using cutting edge lightweight Java technologies.
- Work in an agile development environment using Scrum, Extreme programming (XP) and Agile practices likes Continuous Integration and Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Full life cycle development.
- Assist in new products development and aid in enhancement of existing products.
- Testing of new development.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Expertise in development and implementing Java applications with STANDARD UI COMPONENTS, INTEGRATING MODULES TO BACK END OVER XML, REST, SOAP AND JSON.
- Knowledge of SPRING FRAMEWORKS PREFERRED MODULES (SPRING MVC, SPRING REST, SPRING BATCH, SPRING DATA, AND SPRING JPA).
- Good understanding of HTML5, JAVASCRIPT, CSS, XHTML and other web technologies.
- Expertise in writing complex ANSI SQL QUERIES WITH ORACLE, MYSQL DATABASEs.
- Demonstrated experience in Object Oriented Design and development, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.
- Hadoop knowledge is a plus.
