Java Developer

This is a 6 month contract for a Java Developer in Tampa, FL.

Individual will be responsible for developing new applications and performing support for existing applications. Will provide leadership in team meetings and lead applications development teams from the concept stage through final implementation. In addition, individual will be accountable for all tasks assigned to the team/project.

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science ot IT related
- 3+ years. of J2EE and Core Java development
- Object Oriented and Structured Development experience
- Solid Agile development experience in developing J2EE applications
- Extensive work with Apache, JBoss and Spring Frameworks
- Experience with multi-threading, JDBC, AOP, messaging infrastructure
- Experience with writing queries, stored procedures and packages and interactions with different data sources
- Experience with Oracle
- UNIX or Linux experience in deploying and supporting Java code
- Experience with different protocols like JMS, JMX, HTTP, Socket, etc.
- Experience with build tools like Maven and source code controls like SVN
