JAVA APPLICATION DEVELOPER
OUR CLIENT, A GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY COMPANY IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A JAVA DEVELOPER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM ON A CONTRACT BASIS BASED IN LEIXLIP, CO. KILDARE.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong Object Oriented & Analysis Skills
- Strong knowledge of HTML
- Web protocols & Security (SSL, HTTP, HTTPS)
- Web Service Technology such as SOAP, REST, etc
- Application development frameworks: J2EE, JEE (Weblogic/JBoss), Spring etc.
- Data Access Technologies such as Hibernate, JPA etc.
- Strong experience working with tools such as Eclipse, Maven, Hudson and Subversion.
- Experience with full software development life cycle
- Oracle and/or MS SQL Server
Non-Technical Requirements:
- Ability to quickly learn and apply complex IT processes and procedures.
- Process driven and focused on quality.
- Strong problem solving skills, self-motivated, energetic, creative, flexible and able to exercise independent judgment.
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude required.
- Leadership qualities: Integrity, attention to detail, timeline sensitive, goal oriented
Education and experience required:
* Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and related experience or a Master's degree and experience.
