Java Developer

Yoh has an upcoming contract opportunity for a JAVA DEVELOPER to join our client in Indianapolis, IN.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyze, design, develop, test, implement and maintain application software/operating systems.
- Provide technical support, customizations, corrections and enhancements to applications/operating systems.
- Provide technical documentation; participate in test-plan development, integration and deployment.
- Function as an active member of the development team in all phases of the project.
- Actively learn the business behind the application to leverage the knowledge in delivering effective solutions to system problems.
- Create complete and comprehensive technical documentation (ie technical designs, unit test plans and other system specifications).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelors' degree required with emphasis in business information systems, Computer Science or finance and accounting.
- Strong Java programming experience is required.
- Object Oriented application analysis and design knowledge is very important.
- Good understanding of relational database concepts and SQL is a must.
- Good understanding of Software development life cycle and development methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle.
