Java Developer

Several Senior Java Developer's are urgently required to join a large Australian organisation based in the CBD. The successful Java Developer's will be responsible for providing technical solutions, designs, implementations and support for new and ongoing software development projects.

They will be able to demonstrate their past programming skills along with exhibiting their analytical and problem solving ability. The Developer will be joining a cross functional Agile team. Their would be an interest of people who like working with languages such as Ruby, Groovy and Scarla.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist in the development and documentation of architectural principles, processes, templates and tools
- Provide estimates to business and IT stakeholders for pieces of work in the product life cycle
- Meeting development deadlines for new features
- You will be working within an Agile (Scrum) TDD and BDD environment

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- A minimum of 3- 5 years experience in a Java development role
- Experience with Cucumber or Selenium
- Strong understanding of the SDLC
- Worked within an Agile environment for a minimum of 3 years
- Previous exposure in designing and developing cutting edge E-commerce solutions
- The ability to leverage commercial or open source software to build the best solution
- Excellent communication skills
- A self-starter with a 'can do' attitude.
