Java Developer

- Long term contract
- Growing financial organisation
- Spring & Hibernate

Experienced Java developer required to work in an investment bank in CBD.

6 month contract that will definitely extend on a long term project

- Very strong Java and object-oriented programming skills
- Experience working in financial services
- Expertise with Spring and Hibernate frameworks
- Web services, particularly REST
- Experience with agile, lean and/or scrum development methodologies
- Sybase and/or Oracle database experience
- Test driven development
- Experience with junit and/or testing
- Experience with Maven
- Continuous Integration frameworks (eg Jenkins)

Knowledge of some of the following skills ideal but not mandatory:

- Messaging-oriented Middleware (eg MQ, ActiveMQ, etc.)
- Enterprise Integration frameworks (eg Camel, Mule, Spring Integration)
- Drools rule engine
- BPM/workflow systems (eg jBPM)
- ETL tools (eg Pentaho, Talend)
