Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks an Application Developer to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot a state of the art risk application using Java, SQL, Unix Scripts, distributed computing, and financial knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Solid skills on core Sybase Transact SQL, Unix Scripts, Grid computing (Data Synapse), system architecture, and Java.
- Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, design patterns, best coding practices is a must.

The candidate must have experience developing applications for the financial service industry. Experience working on credit risk IT is a plus. The candidate must be proactive, versatile, a good team player but at the same time able to work independently when delivering solutions to the business. The candidate must have background of Fixed Income, FX, Equities, and Commodities products.
