Java Developer

Mandatory Skills: Java, J2EE(JSF, JDBC, JMX), AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JUnit
Frameworks: Spring Framework, Hibernate
Application Servers: Weblogic 11g Application Server.

1.) Strong Java 1.6 knowledge at the intermediate level (They will be heavily tested during the interview(s): including multi-threading and memory management of frequent changing structures.
2.) Ability to understand high-volume high-demand network level transaction based development with focus on accuracy and performance.
3.) Ability understand and manipulate byte and bit level transactions to convert raw bytes into numbers and strings.
4.) JDBC is a given to talk to any database.
5.) JMX is a requirement for it is key in commanding pathways. Understanding of establishment, activation, and teardown of JMX commanding MBean communication links between multiple JVMs.
6.) AJAX and Reverse AJAX for GUI dashboard.
7.) Should know HTML, XHTML, CSS, and Javascript.
8.) Spring Framework
9.) JUnit testing, script development, application, and results tally.
10.) WebLogic 11g Application Server and WebServer,
11.) Databases: MySQL 5 and Oracle 11g.
12.) ANSI -SQL (ddl, transactional, and query) and including PL/SQL (Oracle Stored Procedures and Triggers).
13.) Ability to document, explain concepts and ideas to others at multiple levels (business to technical)

Preferred Skills: Spring Integration, Proficiency is any JavaScript libraries like DOJO, JQuery

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
7+ years experience in a Unix, Tandem, or Mainframe product development environment
Strong telecommunications and wireless industry knowledge
Working knowledge of company products, systems and applications
Strong knowledge of third party vendor tools (eg monitoring, scalability, performance tuning)
Strong working knowledge of software design processes and methods
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Experience using a source code management tool
Solid understanding of system architecture
Solid understanding of statistical and benchmark testing
Proficient at Unix Shell Scripting (korn, Bourne, bash, etc.)
Expert at one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++ or Java
Proficient at developing SQL
Must have Oracle or Informix development expertise and design techniques
Object Oriented development methodologies and design patterns (Desirable)
Experience with Integrated Development Environments (Forte, JBuilder, Visual Studio) (preferred)
