Description of the job as a JAVA consultant:
One of our clients is looking for an experienced JAVA consultant with proven expertise and experience in Big Data Analytics and Processing.

The profile of consultant we are looking for, can operate independant, in a technical complex environment.

Responsibilities of the JAVA consultant:
-Skills to write technical documentation: software architecture and design
- Operational modus: ca half time - working days and hours in agreement with the VITO Project Manager
- Please send in your references you had with other projects
- It could be that VITO prefers to have an interview with the candidate before the start of the project
- the number of estated days are an indication and are not binding for VITO

Technical skills of the JAVA consultant:
-Excellent programming skills in Java and python.
-Practical experience in Hadoop/Spark.
-Practical experience in Elastic Search.
-Experience in the context of GEO data is an asset.

Personal skills of the JAVA consultant:
-Fluent in English
