Our client is currently looking for a Java/C++ Software Engineer - for a 5 month contract (+ extensions) in Antwerp, Belgium.
The Client:
A large scale consultancy (FTSE 500)
Job Description:
Coding for projects and change requests
Java and C++ applications
Assist with technical design and solutions for said application domain
Assist with functional requirements specification and modification
Write developer tests and continuously improve code quality
Collaborate closely with
Senior in-house Software Engineers
QA Engineers
Business stakeholders
Data Systems
Assist with rollout changes and fixes
Skills Required:
Proficiency in Java and related technologies
Various Java versions
J2EE: EJB 2.x, JNDI, JMS, RMI, JTA
Swing
Spring
Hibernate
JDBC
XML
Web
Proficiency in C++ and related technologies
Tools.h++
Roque Wave software
Xerces
Knowledge of C programming
