Java/C++ Developer

My client is a leading worldwide geophysical company providing an extensive range of seismic services and products for the petroleum industry including seismic data acquisition, processing, reservoir analysis, interpretation and electromagnetic studies. The company also possesses the world's most extensive MultiClient data library.

Essential Skills/Experience:

-JAVA, C++
-Demonstrable experience working with UNIX/Linux environment and shell programming.
-Familiarity with version control software, especially GIT/Bazaar/SVN
-A basic knowledge of software-development methods (Agile, Scrum, V-model)

Desired Skills/Experience

-Experience in working in multi-threading and parallel environment and efficient handling of very large datasets is a plus.

SALARY: UP to £80K
