My client, an electronics company based in Brussels, is looking for a Java Backend Engineer to join their Fraud Detection Team on a temporary basis.
Job Title: Java/Big Data Engineer
Basis: Temporary
Contract Length: 12 months (with extension)
Pay Rate: €55-65 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Description
*The candidate will help the team develop complete fraud detection systems
*The ideal candidate will have experience in developing solutions using Big Data tools and technologies, familiarity with predictive analytics, and an understanding of machine learning techniques
*The candidate will gather data, cleanse and analyse the implementation of Real Time detection systems.
Skills Required
*At least 4 years Back End development experience using Java EE, Spring and RESTful
*Be experienced in Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Redis, Cassandra or Splunk
*Other technology knowledge of Python and SQL would be highly desirable as well as experience in data analytics and machine learning
